Unlike industry practices that rely on grid-connected electricity for hydrogen generation or large-scale storage solutions to ensure off-grid operations, LanKun’s square, atmospheric pressure electrolyzer can achieve pure off-grid hydrogen production with a wide load range of 2%-120%. The system is designed to flexibly adapt to fluctuations in renewable energy generation, directly converting solar and wind power into high-purity hydrogen. This innovation eliminates substantial costs and complexities associated with energy storage, bringing off-grid hydrogen production from theory to practice.
The electrolyzer features:
- Integrated Structure for Stable Temperature Control: The gas-liquid separator and electrolyzer are designed as a single unit, creating a stable flow field environment for gas-liquid separation, ensuring that electrolysis efficiency remains uncompromised even in off-grid conditions.
- Safe Atmospheric Design: The system avoids high-pressure risks, operating at a pressure range of 10 kPa to 30 kPa, achieving micro-positive pressure; it utilizes a third-generation composite membrane that significantly reduces hydrogen-oxygen crossover, with hydrogen content in oxygen reaching just 0.2% under normal operating conditions, well below the 5% explosion threshold, providing essential safety for the electrolyzer’s operation.
- Convenient Operation and Maintenance: The square atmospheric pressure electrolyzer features a modular design, weighing only 33% of traditional high-pressure circular electrolyzers of the same power. It employs digital integrated control, simplifying the start-up process and eliminating the need for continuous manual inspections. Components can be replaced on-site without the need for factory returns, making maintenance extremely convenient.
Currently, the system produces hydrogen with a purity exceeding 99.9%, validating the reliability of off-grid hydrogen production with robust quality. This breakthrough stands as a testament to technological innovation and signals a new potential for the hydrogen energy industry—starting today, green electricity consumption no longer requires storage, allowing hydrogen production to proceed with greater ease.
