Recently, the 2025 European Smart Energy Exhibition took place in Munich, Germany. This event is the largest and most influential renewable energy exhibition in Europe. Several companies from the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, including Goldwind Zero Carbon Energy Co., Ltd., showcased a range of cutting-edge products, contributing to global energy transformation with Yi Zhuang’s innovation.
The 2025 European Smart Energy Exhibition comprises four interconnected exhibitions: Intersolar Europe (the European International Solar Exhibition), EES Europe (the European International Battery Energy Storage Systems Exhibition), Power2Drive Europe (the European Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Exhibition), and EM-Power Europe (the European Smart Grid and Energy Management Exhibition). These exhibitions focus on exploring key strategies and technological advancements to achieve all-weather sustainable energy supply.
At EES Europe 2025, Goldwind Zero Carbon, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldwind, presented several core products and solutions, including the Goldwind Zero Carbon GoldBlock L700 series. This product addresses both AC and DC needs, featuring a unique all-in-one modular compartment design. It can flexibly configure 2-12 hours of energy storage systems and offers customized solutions based on regional environmental requirements, creating stable and predictable long-term benefits for customers.
Goldwind Zero Carbon’s exhibition area attracted significant attention with its latest offerings tailored to the energy storage market. Among these, on the AC side, the company introduced the GoldConv A10000Pro-MV energy storage system, which boasts a 10MVA medium-voltage capacity and is compatible with 280-730Ah battery cells. Compared to a 5MVA transformer, this product can reduce the system MV BOS costs by 10% to 15% while delivering equivalent functionality.
On the DC side, Goldwind Zero Carbon unveiled the GoldStack 2.0 Pro liquid-cooled energy storage system, utilizing large-capacity 628Ah cells. This system significantly lowers failure rates compared to similar storage products using 314Ah cells, ensuring higher system availability and returns.
Additionally, at the exhibition, CATL, a joint venture in the Economic Development Zone, launched the world’s first mass-producible 9MWh ultra-large capacity energy storage system solution called TENER Stack. This innovation breaks new ground in system capacity, deployment flexibility, safety, and transport efficiency, marking a new era for large-capacity energy storage technology. The TENER Stack employs high-energy-density cells from CATL, featuring a zero degradation characteristic over five years. Compared to traditional 20-foot container systems, the TENER Stack achieves a 45% increase in volume utilization and a 50% enhancement in energy density. Its single unit can store up to 9MWh, capable of charging about 150 household electric vehicles or powering an average German household for six years.
The participation of Yi Zhuang enterprises in the 2025 European Smart Energy Exhibition not only enhances their international competitiveness and influence but also adds a vibrant chapter to the Economic Development Zone’s layout of the new energy industry chain. In the realm of renewable energy, the Beijing Economic Development Zone has largely developed a multi-track growth pattern encompassing wind power, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, new energy storage, and smart grids. Currently, efforts are underway to accelerate the development of future energy sectors such as controllable nuclear fusion, continuously enhancing the resilience and vitality of the industry chain.
