The information regarding the BEIJING hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the EU7FC, has recently come to light. This new model can accommodate 65 liters of hydrogen and is part of the latest disclosures from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The EU7FC retains the battery design characteristic of the BEIJING EU7, but it is powered by hydrogen fuel. The vehicle features a striking design, with large C-shaped daytime running lights in the fog lamp area that enhance its visibility. A chrome strip connects the headlights, while the fuel storage area and lower middle grille are also highlighted with chrome accents, creating a cohesive look. Although the front end may appear somewhat bulky, it is not unattractive.
At the rear, the design mirrors that of the front, with a robust chrome strip linking the elongated taillights, providing a wider visual effect. The bumper’s C-shaped decorations are similarly connected by a chrome strip, echoing the design of the daytime running lights at the front. The EU7FC badge located at the lower right corner of the rear indicates the vehicle’s identity as a hydrogen fuel cell car.
The dimensions of the new vehicle are 4805 mm in length, 1835 mm in width, and 1528 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2785 mm. These specifications are consistent with those of the BEIJING EU7. The EU7FC utilizes hydrogen fuel for propulsion, equipped with a ternary lithium battery and a permanent magnet synchronous motor, model TZ220XS650, produced by Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. This motor delivers a rated power of 80 kW and a peak power of 160 kW. The hydrogen tank has a capacity of 65 liters, while the fuel cell stack has a rated power of 50 kW.
