As of the latest updates, there are current waitlists for SGIP rebates in certain areas. Specifically:
- Equity and Equity Resiliency Budgets: Homeowners applying for these categories in most of the state are being placed on waitlists due to unavailability of funds. Although additional funding was approved, it has not been fully released yet.
- PG&E Territory: The Equity Resiliency budget is exhausted and operating on a waitlist, particularly impacting those who live in high fire-threat areas or have experienced multiple public safety power shutoffs (PSPS).
- General SGIP Waitlists: Once a budget category is fully allocated, applications are placed on a waitlist and funded as incentives become available through attrition.
