To all relevant parties:

As the global economy and society continue to develop, the demand for energy is steadily increasing. Humanity is transitioning towards a cleaner, more diverse, and efficient modern energy era, leading to an unprecedented transformation in the energy structure. In light of this complex and dynamic situation, it is crucial to gain a deeper understanding of the current status, trends, and challenges in global energy development. By adopting a more scientific perspective, forward-thinking approach, and pragmatic guidance, we can outline a clear blueprint for future energy development.

Accelerating the planning and construction of a new energy system and facilitating the green and low-carbon transformation of China’s energy industry is a systematic and comprehensive project that impacts economic and social development. Our country’s energy transition has achieved remarkable accomplishments but also faces unprecedented challenges. Currently, we are at a pivotal moment, concluding the 14th Five-Year Plan while looking ahead to the 15th. Given the complex international environment and the domestic focus on high-quality development, it is imperative to further promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the energy sector. This requires addressing significant issues such as transformation drivers, development pathways, advancement rhythms, and cost burdens.

Establishing a safer, more stable, affordable, and environmentally sustainable energy system is a transformative challenge that demands courage, wisdom, perseverance, and responsibility. To this end, the China Enterprise Reform and Development Research Association is organizing the 2025 Energy Industry Ecological Forum. We aim to collaborate with various sectors to analyze the development trends and potentials of different energy sources, explore the evolution pathways of future energy structures, and gather consensus. This forum seeks to provide valuable insights for government, enterprises, institutions, and the public, contributing to the green and low-carbon transformation of China’s energy sector and the high-quality development of society and economy.

We are now officially inviting registrations for the forum, and we welcome your esteemed organization to participate.
