Moreover, the plan aims to expand the categories of auxiliary service markets for new energy storage. It supports the participation of new storage technologies in peak-shaving markets and accelerates the formal operation of frequency regulation auxiliary service markets. Importantly, it allows new energy storage to participate as independent market entities in these services, gradually lifting restrictions on the proportion of frequency regulation capacity that independent storage stations can bid for in relation to the total demand.
