The 2026 Shenzhen International Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Exhibition is set to take place with its Spring Exhibition scheduled from April 9 to 11 and the Autumn Exhibition planned for November 26 to 28. This event is recognized as one of the most influential industry gatherings globally in the fields of AI and robotics. It is expected to attract over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, covering an exhibition area exceeding 80,000 square meters, with the anticipated attendance of more than 150,000 professional visitors.
The Spring Exhibition will focus on innovations in the foundational and technological layers of artificial intelligence. Dedicated exhibition zones will feature AI chips and algorithms, computer vision, natural language processing, and smart sensors. Notably, NeuralMind, a developer of deep learning frameworks from Silicon Valley, will make its debut presentation of its next-generation adaptive neural network system. Additionally, Yaskawa Electric Corporation, a leading robotics company from Japan, will showcase its latest series of collaborative robots, which include a groundbreaking tactile feedback system.
The Autumn Exhibition, located at the newly constructed Shenzhen International Exhibition Center, will have the theme of “AI + Robotics” with a focus on integrated applications. Exhibition areas will be dedicated to smart manufacturing, smart healthcare, and smart transportation. The organizing committee has revealed that industry leaders, including Boston Dynamics and DJI, have submitted applications to exhibit. Particularly noteworthy is that local Shenzhen company UBTECH plans to unveil its fifth-generation humanoid robot, Walker X, during the exhibition, which has achieved significant technological breakthroughs in motion control and environmental interaction.
This exhibition will introduce a new Frontier Technology Release Zone, providing a platform for innovative companies to launch their products. Currently, there have been 36 technology roadshow applications received from research institutions such as the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Concurrent with the exhibition, the Global AI Leaders Summit will invite experts and scholars, including Turing Award winner Yoshua Bengio and Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Pan Yunhe, to discuss topics such as AI ethics and new paradigms in machine learning. In addition to this, the organizing committee will host the “AI + Robotics” Innovation Competition, featuring categories for precision operation of industrial robots and application scenarios for service robots. The Fraunhofer Institute from Germany has confirmed its participation in the competition.
A Supply and Demand Matching Conference specifically tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises will also take place, offering over 200 business cooperation opportunities. Major tech giants like Huawei and Tencent have already announced their specific procurement needs.
Industry analysts indicate that with the New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan entering a critical implementation phase, 2026 will serve as a crucial window for the commercialization of AI technologies. With a complete electronic information industry chain and a vibrant innovation ecosystem, Shenzhen is gradually establishing itself as a globally influential AI industry cluster. The holding of this exhibition will further strengthen the voice of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area in the field of intelligent technology, creating an important platform for global industrial collaboration.
