From May 25 to 26, the 2025 Green Value CEO Roundtable Forum took place at the Tianjia Energy Base in Nanjing. Attendees engaged in discussions centered on the theme of “Cross-Border Dialogue, Co-Creation of Value, and Leading Transformation,” exploring how businesses can transition from being “responders” to becoming “systemic solution providers” and “global co-creators of value,” thereby playing a deeper role in urban green transformation.
This event was co-hosted by Deep Stone, Tianjia, and Jinying, bringing together numerous guests from international organizations, green technology companies, industrial capital, and academic think tanks, including representatives from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Global Innovation Center, the UN Refugee Agency in China, and Brazil’s Earth Capital.
Global Dialogue: Addressing Systemic Challenges in Urban Transformation
During the forum’s opening ceremony, Tianjia Chairman Jiang Li reflected on the company’s journey towards green development. He noted that as the recipient of the 2021 Global Environmental Award, the Paulson Prize, Tianjia is committed to contemplating the responsibilities of manufacturing companies in the era of “dual carbon” goals. He shared Tianjia’s low-carbon integrated solutions based on user scenarios, which utilize low-lifecycle-cost magnetic levitation equipment and AGI smart algorithms to significantly enhance energy efficiency. Jiang emphasized, “Companies should maintain their core business amid uncertainty, build trust through openness, and leverage technological innovation on the ESG path to create a green and sustainable ‘moat.’”
Wang Shi, founder of Vanke Group and Deep Stone Group, expressed that “carbon neutrality” is an essential path to the future that requires unwavering commitment to advancing green transformation while maintaining a consistent direction amidst change.
Massamba Thioye, Director of the Global Innovation Center for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, introduced the “City Challenge” global action framework, emphasizing the importance of goal-oriented integration of technology and finance to provide systemic solutions. He firmly believes that “the best climate and sustainability solutions will emerge from China” and looks forward to annual city challenge activities that create collaboration platforms between cities and innovative solutions, encouraging more companies to participate in green development and urban strategy upgrades.
Sophie Muller, representative of the UN Refugee Agency in China, called for attention to energy equity and highlighted the critical role of private sector involvement and cross-sector collaboration.
Marcelo de Andrade, co-founder of Brazil’s Earth Capital, noted China’s vital role in global climate response, asserting that Chinese companies possess strong adaptability and execution capabilities that could play a more critical role in COP30. He also pointed out that the forum reflects a trend of escalating green international cooperation, looking forward to deepening co-creation in climate finance and technological solutions with China.
Diverse Thematic Salons: Expanding Pathways for Solution Implementation
In a salon themed “From Shared Benefits to Win-Win: Strategic Opportunities for Enterprises in Urban Challenges,” Massamba Thioye, Jiang Li, and Cao Lei, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Enterprises Water Group, engaged in in-depth discussions. They unanimously agreed that cities are crucial hubs for green technology and business model innovation, and deploying systemic solutions within them not only aids in achieving carbon neutrality goals but also positions businesses advantageously in the global competition for sustainable development.
During the “Building Energy Resilience and Energy Equity” salon, representatives from the UN Refugee Agency in China, Longi Green Energy, Hongzheng Energy Storage, and Jiangsu Grassland Technology Group discussed green energy assistance, low-carbon infrastructure construction, and localized technology application, examining how Chinese enterprises can provide systemic solutions in South-South cooperation.
In the “Exploring Governance and Integration Models for Zero Carbon Parks” salon, representatives from Brazil’s Earth Capital, Qatar’s climate negotiation delegation, Huawei, Zhonghuan New Energy, Tuya Smart, and Xinjiang Zhonghuan Oil Forestry discussed how to develop green parks as innovative demonstration zones for technology integration, business closure, and policy guidance under international cooperation frameworks.
The “Promoting Globalization of Sustainable Brands” salon focused on business linkages between China and Europe and the international expansion of green brands. Guests from the Otto family in Germany, the London Development Agency, and LinkedIn Technologies engaged in practical dialogues about opportunities for collaboration in commercial real estate, policy mechanisms, and consumer scenarios, providing actionable strategies and investment pathways for Chinese green brands entering international markets.
Consolidated Announcement of Agreements: Showcasing Active Exploration of New Initiatives
Following the roundtable forum, the conference proceeded to the announcement of initiatives and signing ceremonies, showcasing a series of green cooperation projects that reflect the core values and outcomes of the event: “Building a Green Future and Deepening Multilateral Cooperation.”
The “Biosphere 3 Green Companions Going Global – European Program” was officially launched. This initiative was announced by Feng Nan, Chairman of Deep Stone Group and co-founder of Biosphere 3, in collaboration with multiple leading Chinese green enterprises, leveraging global platforms such as the United Nations Climate Change Conference to promote technology exchange, model output, and industrial collaboration, opening new pathways for green international expansion.
The “Green Jinling Innovation Initiative,” co-launched by Deep Stone, Tianjia, and Jinying, was also officially announced at the conference. This initiative aims to align global climate governance topics with local Chinese innovations, covering urban green vision collection, innovation solution incubation, implementation assessment, and reward mechanisms, establishing replicable and actionable models for green development to support global urban green transformation.
During the meeting, the Gulf Green Technology Company and Qatar Agricultural Planting Consulting Company signed a cooperation agreement, focusing on green agricultural collaboration in the Middle East as part of a key green international expansion project promoted by Deep Stone Group, aiming to jointly advance the application of Chinese green technology in the region’s agricultural systems.
The Wuxi China-Sweden Ecological City Dual Carbon Demonstration Street Project was officially launched. This project, co-built by Wuxi Qingshan Green Building Co., Longi Green Energy, and Jiangsu Grassland Technology Group, aims to create a “zero carbon scenario model street” with demonstrative effects, promoted jointly by Deep Stone Group and Jiangsu Grassland Technology Group, a member of Biosphere 3.
Deep Stone Group also signed a memorandum of cooperation with Tianjia Environment. The two parties will collaborate on energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies at the “Biosphere 3” carbon neutrality experimental garden, with Tianjia deploying magnetic levitation air conditioning systems and energy-carbon optimization solutions through an Energy Management Contract (EMC) model to enhance overall system energy efficiency. Additionally, “Biosphere 3” will serve as a demonstration platform to promote Tianjia’s products and green technologies, co-creating a new cooperative model driven by both “solution + application scene.”
A series of initiatives and project announcements comprehensively showcased the proactive exploration of Chinese green enterprises in international cooperation and practical implementation, providing a viable “Chinese model” for global green development.
