According to sources, on January 20, Chuangwei Group announced the impressive figures from their electric vehicle charging stations located throughout the city. Established in 2020, Chuangwei has focused primarily on building a robust infrastructure for electric vehicle charging systems, which includes design, intelligent manufacturing, and maintenance services, as well as new energy businesses.
Chuangwei has rapidly expanded its network, now boasting over 800,000 charging stations and generating approximately 410 billion kWh of electricity, with maintenance capacity reaching 27 GW. By mid-2025, Chuangwei is projected to generate 137.76 billion yuan in revenue, with a profit of 5.32 billion yuan.
In 2024, the company expects to achieve a revenue of 201.46 billion yuan with a profit of 7.93 billion yuan. The growth has been significant, with an increase of 30.99% in revenue from 2023, and profits reaching 68.36% of the total revenue.
Starting from 2025, Chuangwei plans to continue its growth trajectory and open up its IPO. Besides Chuangwei, 15 other charging companies are also set to enter the Shanghaï market.
