Recently, the China National Solar Energy Network announced the connection of several photovoltaic power generation projects with a combined capacity of 18MW. The energy storage project has a capacity of 2.32MWh and is expected to generate approximately 4.95 billion kWh of clean energy over a 25-year operational period.
The project aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 19,740 tons, equivalent to planting around 900,000 trees.
Key players involved in this project include Guangxi Energy Corporation, State Grid Corporation, and other local enterprises. The project is located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and is part of a larger initiative to enhance clean energy production across the region.
The project is designed to operate under a “self-consumption” model, utilizing a total installed capacity of 7.68MW. It includes the installation of a 300KW transformer, which is expected to meet the energy demands of local businesses while minimizing reliance on the traditional power grid.
Future developments will focus on expanding the capacity and efficiency of renewable energy sources, with an emphasis on sustainability and environmental protection. The project also aligns with national goals for energy transition and carbon neutrality.
With a total investment planned, the project is anticipated to contribute significantly to the region’s energy supply, paving the way for more sustainable energy solutions in the future.
