15,000 units! The collaboration between Bitmain and XPENG is set to revolutionize electric vehicle charging infrastructure. On June 1, 2025, at 07:19, Fast Technology reported that compared to earlier this year, the development of charging stations has accelerated significantly, with the goal of deploying 15,000 charging stations. This initiative is part of the push towards a new era of electric vehicle technology.
According to the latest report from Fast Technology, “Charging will take only 5 minutes, providing a range of 400 kilometers,” signaling a new phase in electric vehicle technology. Users have expressed their primary concern regarding the “charging time for large electric vehicles,” highlighting the need for improvements in this area.
Bitmain’s new “charging station construction” project aims to launch its first stations in Hubei Province. In addition, Bitmain announced a partnership with XPENG to establish 10,000 charging stations and collaborate on the construction of 5,000 new electric vehicle charging stations.
As of now, Bitmain has partnered with over 8,400 businesses, providing services to more than 3.4 million users. Meanwhile, XPENG has connected approximately 90% of its charging stations nationwide, with plans for expansion to 400 more cities.
This collaboration is expected to enhance the overall speed of charging stations and accelerate the construction of electric vehicle infrastructure across the country. In addition to this partnership, Bitmain had previously announced plans to independently establish 4,000 charging stations, and has already completed 500 stations, aiming for more than 200 in cities nationwide.
