1.275 GW! Announcement of the Sixth Batch of Renewable Energy Generation Subsidy Projects for 2025
On June 26, the New Energy Cloud Platform reported the release of the list for the sixth batch of renewable energy generation subsidy projects for 2025. A total of 50 projects have been included in this batch, with an approved/registered capacity of 1275.57 MW. This includes 34 centralized generation projects with an approved/registered capacity of 1244 MW and 16 distributed generation projects with an approved/registered capacity of 31.57 MW.
Additionally, there are 7 projects that have undergone changes in the renewable energy generation subsidy list, with an approved/registered capacity of 25.90 MW. This includes 1 centralized generation project with an approved/registered capacity of 25 MW and 6 distributed generation projects with an approved/registered capacity of 0.90 MW.
Details of the Announcement
The announcement was made in accordance with several documents, including the Ministry of Finance, National Development and Reform Commission, and National Energy Administration’s opinions on promoting the healthy development of non-hydro renewable energy generation. Following the submission through the State Grid New Energy Cloud platform and after the initial review by the State Grid, confirmation by provincial authorities, and re-examination by the National Renewable Energy Information Management Center, the projects that completed the public notification process were officially announced.
